The Timothy Knapp House dates back to 1662 and is considered to be the oldest residential property in Westchester County. Managed today by the Rye Historical Society, the property houses the archives of the City of Rye and hosts art shows, literary events, camps and educational programs for children, and historical exhibits for the public.
